Lord Hear Prayer for:

Dear Lord God, we acknowledge you as the builder of heaven and earth.  We honor you as our shield and buckler.  Lord, we love you, how blessed is your name.  As we honor you, our hearts are thankful for the laborer you have planted here at Nineteenth Street, Dr. Darryl Roberts.  We pray now that you would convict our hearts that we will be careful to share your love and the double honor’ to which they that work in the Word and doctrine are entitled, according to your teaching. Forgive us for our sins.  We plead the blood of Jesus Christ, that we may approach your throne of mercy in this season for this purpose.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit we commit our Pastor, Dr. Darryl Roberts, to you and rededicate ourselves/your church to your commission.  While surrounding Dr. Roberts with our love and support. Our Savior endured all things for us.  We, in response, will endure for His elect.  Father your promise is that we shall reign with Jesus if we just believe in you.  So let us not look to words, guide our minds that we shall shun vain babblings but show ourselves approved as our own Darryl Roberts rightly divides the Word. By the power of the Holy Ghost walk in your path of righteousness, Dr. Roberts.  Only fear the Lord.  Who shall be our sanctuary as you teach us His WORD.  Dear Heavenly Father, strengthen not only your church but its Board of Deacons that it may fulfill that purpose to support our Pastor.  So that Nineteenth Street Baptist Church may become like that body of believers exemplified in Acts 6.  A body that is functional and relevant; and whose servant is given continually to prayer and ministry.  We claim that unity and spirit so that this will continue to be that place from which we go, and teach and baptize. In the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ,Amen.
