Day 15 – Social Justice for ALL
Meditative Thought: God created us in His own image; and in His image we are all alike
“If we ever needed the Lord before we sure do need Him now. We need Him every day and every hour.”
Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. Isaiah 1:17
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
Brothers and sisters, we instructed you to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. 1 Thessalonians 4:1
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31: 8-9
23). Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. 24). But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.
Amos 5:21-14 (NKJV)
Lord Hear Our Prayer :
Loving Father, You created us out of your own image. Help us each and every day to eliminate judgmental thoughts and ideas about others. Your WORD says we are to give justice to the weak and the fatherless, and maintain the rights of the afflicted and the destitute. You created us equally and may we look at others with eyes of compassion and love to see each other as human beings of value because we come from You. Father, help us to be instruments of peace; to show that Your love points us to right ACTION that is pleasing to You as well. Help us to commit our work of helping others and Your plan of social justice will be established. Father, we realize we are not all self-sufficient. We depend upon Your WORD for guidance to deliver justice when and where ever it is needed. Father, You are an awesome God. We pray for courage to be light in dark times and places; that we may amplify your will for mankind. Help us to commit our work of helping others, then Your plan of social justice will be established. Your WORD says; But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream. As we enter this new administration for our country, open their eyes to what social justice really is; that they are responsible for all, not just a few. We pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, Amen, Amen and Amen. .
Lord have mercy upon us, and incline our hearts to keep Thy Law.
