Meditative Thought: The Lord is with Us Always No Matter What

Scripture References:

1). But now, thus says the Lord, who created you. O Jacob, And He who formed you O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2) When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. 3) for I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4) Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you. And people for your life. 5) Fear not for I am with you, I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west; 6) I will say to the north, “Give them up!” And to the south, Do not keep them back!” Bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—7) Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him……

Lord Hear Our Prayer :

Blessed be the Lord our God Who rules heaven and earth; Lord, You are holy, mighty and all powerful.  Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, and your justice like the ocean depths.  Even so Lord, the enemy has not stopped the attacks.  He wants to divide and conquer Your church at 19th Street.  The devil’s aim is to kill and destroy your people. Your appointment of Reverend Dr. Roberts has upset the enemy even more.  Holy Spirit, help us to put all our faith and trust in God, that we might live in His shelter and shine as light when the shadows of darkness emerge. God You did not promise us that when Dr. Roberts comes we would be exempt from the evil doings of the devil; but You did promise that You would be there to help.   Holy Spirit help us as a church body to get closer to God that we might abide in Him and Him in us; and then His faithful promises will be our armor and protection.   Father,  You are our refuge and strength, an ever present help in the time of need.  We will look to the hills from where our help comes, and we know our help comes from You, Lord.  Holy Spirit, encourage us in the Lord.  God, You promised that if we make You our refuge and shelter, no evil will conquer us.  You said You will rescue those who love You and will protect those who trust in Your Name.  We love You Lord, and we trust You and know that You will be with us individually and as a church body (with Dr. Roberts pastoring) in the stormy times.  And, if we remain faithful Your word says You will not only rescue us, but also honor us, reward us with a long life and give us Your salvation.   Thank You Father, for it doesn’t get any better than that.  You are full of grace and mercy and oh how we love You.
