Day 30 – Work Of Ministry In Our Church

Day 30 – Work of Ministry in Our Church: Its Support and Growth, Contributed by Deaconess Jean Jordan

Meditative Thought: God empowers us to serve for the good of all.

Scripture References: Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all especially to those who are of the household of faith.  Galatians 6: 10

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?             Hebrews 9:14

We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;                                             2 Corinthians 6:3-10

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”                                                                                Matthew 28:18-20

Lord Hear Our Prayer:

Dear Lord, Please accept this prayer in the spirit in which it is offered. I beseech you Father to bless and guide the ministries of our church. Help us to understand that spreading Your gospel is so important in savings the souls of your people. Help us to live in a way that others will be drawn to thee and will glorify Your holy Name. In the Master’s Name I pray. Amen
