Meditative Thought: God and His Word Are One and the Same.

Scripture References:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.                                                                      John 3:16

Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in me but in Him who sent me. 45) And he who sees Me sees Him who sent me. 46) I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”                                                        John 12: 44-46

Lord Hear Our Prayer:

Dear Father, when the hour had come, Jesus and His disciples reclined at the table. I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat again before it finds fulfillment in the Kingdom of God. After taking the Cup, He gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes. And He took the Bread, gave thanks, broke it and gave it to them saying, this is my body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. These words describe the Last Supper meal before Jesus sacrifices Himself for the remission of our sins. God and His Word are one and the same. His body, blood and word are one and the same. The Word of God is preached at out Nineteenth Street Baptist Church by our new Pastor. We need to learn more about God’s Word each day to live as He would want. Reading His Word, understanding it and living by it.                                                                                                                            Luke 16: 14-19
